Vintage AMECO AC-1 Novice QRP HAM RADIO CW TRANSMITTER untested read

  
Here is a vintage Ameco model AC-1 ham radio novice cw transmitter from an estate. Been in storage for many years. It comes complete with both tubes (untested) and a 40 meter crystal but. The plug- in coil is missing. This transmitter made a few modifications to simplify operation. He added a milliamp meter to the dc plate. Line of the 6V6 to aid in tuning. Key/crystal socket on the top left side of the chassis. A crystal socket is also installed nearby. Female coax connecter is installed on the right side of the chassis instead of the original two lug terminal. Strip antenna connector on the top of the chassis.

This transmitter has not been tested for operation since. It has been sitting unused for decades. I did remove the tubes and check the power transformer for proper. This little transmitter could provide someone with lots of 1960s vintage fun.
