The input section allows for virtually any microphone or line level audio source. 5 Volts of bias voltage is available to power electret mics with either positive or negative bias. Level indicating LEDs are provided on the control panel to make level settings quick and accurate, without having to view the receiver. The battery compartment accepts any 9-Volt alkaline battery and makes a positive connection via self-adjusting contacts. The antenna is a detachable, locking 1/4 wavelength flexible bronze cable that connects to a 50 Ohm SMA port on the transmitter. The UCR205D is a portable, high performance, dual-conversion, frequency agile, synthesized, Diversity UHF receiver. This receiver is powered by 12-16 Volt DC external power. Note, the UCR-205D does not have an internal battery compartment and requires external power. The RF performance is extremely stable over a very wide temperature range, making the UCR205D perfectly suited to the rough environmental conditions found in the field. The proprietary audio processing includes a dual-band compandor for very low distortion and a superior signal to noise ratio. The squelch system is operated by a separate pilot tone and mutes the audio output directly at the output connector. The audio output is calibrated for exact level matching, with a ten LED bar graph meter. Included is a 12-Volt AC Power Supply. Included is a Transmitter output cable XLR (Female) to TA5F (Female).
