It's frequency can be adjusted by a varactor diode which performs very good frequency stability. This transmitter runs on 12 volts DC, however runs on 9 volts too, which delivers 1.5 watts in this case.

2N7000 transistor as RF driver. BD241C AF power transistor as modulator stage. 2X 2N2222 transistors as buffers. BD139 transistor as high gain audio amplifier stage. Operates on 12 Volts DC 325-350 mA and 9 Volts 285 - 300 mA.
