Us Army Bc-620-h Signal Corps Military Radio Transmitter Receiver. Mb, Gpw. Ww2
For your consideration is a very nice original condition BC-620. Components and wiring are very clean and intact. The leather handle on the unit has been replaced with a NOS handle from long storage. A great addition to your Jeep or other Military vehicle. Unit can be field used, mounting in your vehicle, or that perfect addition to the olive drab bathroom of your dreams. These BC620`s are the correct radio to be mounted in your jeep. The 659`s are intended for artillery etc. Both mount and look great but the 620 is the correct one for jeep applications. Ive mounted both units in vehicles and used bluetooth speakers & CB handsets hidden under the radio for amusement. I pulled this radio and a few others from a local town to me that had them in long storage from an old Civil Defense warehouse.
The radio looks to have been unused. I have other setups for my vehicles and I`m sure someone out there is looking for one. My PE-97 & Battery substitute are not for sale. A lot of good folks out there have supplied plenty of info online regarding powering up these units.
TM manuals are available for free download online. Comes with the two Crystals as seen in the pics. These are correct #243 crystals for the radio that also fall within the specified channel range. Both crystals have been preset according to proper procedure. I strongly advise anyone to check with FCC regulations if you plan on operating one of these.
Also, these are 70+ year old radios with old school technology. I will not be held responsible for any carpet bombing strike or Bank robbery that involves (but not limited to) Savalas, Eastwood, Bronson.
And an extremely hard to find original AN-45 telescoping Antenna in great condition with tight tolerances. Anything else in the pics not included.
