Item is in good cosmetic condition with usual signs of use such as scuffs, scrapes, scratches and paint chips. The battery compartment is clean as you can see in the photo. The ear and mouth piece of the unit has a piece of rubber or foam covering which is starting to deteriorate as you can see in photo number four. We have no way of testing this item and so actual working condition is unknown. This equipment is part of a silent-key estate, all items have been in a storage, sometimes for many years.

We have not done any testing beyond what is specifically mentioned above. There are a few reasons for this, but it essentially it comes down to the fact that they almost always need some level of service whether it is a cleaning or just a fine tuning. It may or may not need components replaced (caps, resistors, tubes, etc), controls cleaned/lubricated, alignment, and so on.
